65.000 visitors at BiH pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai

The renovated pavilion of Bosnia and Herzegovina opened its door on December 18, 2021, the same day BiH celebrated its National Day.

The Pavilion of Bosnia and Herzegovina is located in the central part of the Opportunity district, whose main theme is that anything is possible and everyone has the power to change the world. Even though Bosnia and Herzegovina is not among the largest countries in the world, its rich cultural tradition, history, and nature are unique, which offers numerous possibilities for both the country itself and investors.

Over 65.000 people have visited the pavilion where they discovered everything our country offers. They were able to see spectacular landscapes and natural beauties, unique handicrafts, and original objects from the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The pavilion also serves as a business center in which numerous companies from various BiH industries are being presented. The first group of business representatives that were selected by the Ministry of Economy of Sarajevo Canton visited Expo 2020 Dubai and represented the tourism sector. The next group of business representatives will visit Expo 2020 Dubai on January 30 with the aim of representing their industry in the best possible light, establishing contacts, and possibly starting business cooperation with potential business partners.

“Our business representatives’ networking and presentations are one of the results that we expect to achieve from our participation at Expo 2020 Dubai since it’s crucial to be up to date with global trends, and that is something that Expo 2020 Dubai offers to its participants. In addition, our companies will be offered a chance to present their products and projects and invite foreign investors to invest in BiH. What is particularly important when it comes to our presence at Expo 2020 Dubai is an opportunity to promote our tourist potentials, but also everything else that could further improve BiH economy.”, said Adnan Delić, the Minister of Economy of Sarajevo Canton.

At the end of January and beginning of February, our pavilion will host masters of our oldest crafts, and visitors will be able to witness some of their work.

At Expo 2020 Dubai, Bosnia and Herzegovina will present its long industrial heritage and talented, highly educated people specializing in different business fields.
