110,000 people visited BiH pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai

In February 2022, over 43,000 people have visited BiH pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.

There were approximately 1,566 visits per day, where visitors had a chance to learn more about beauties, cultural heritage, and various business opportunities that can be found in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

BiH pavilion is located in the Opportunity District, whose central idea is that every individual can contribute to worthwhile global change. Even though Bosnia and Herzegovina isn’t among the largest countries in the world, it has a rich cultural heritage and beautiful natural resources, which offers numerous opportunities to investors interested in our country.

More than 110,000 visitors have visited BiH pavilion since its opening in December 2021. They have witnessed BiH’s spectacular landscapes and natural resources, unique handicrafts, and the original objects from the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The pavilion also serves as a business center at which numerous companies from BiH had a chance to present themselves. Three groups of business representatives had an opportunity to present tourist, food, and other industries with the support package provided by the Ministry of Economy of the Sarajevo Canton. The other two groups of business representatives will have a chance to visit Expo 2020 Dubai in March and present their industry in the best possible light, establish new contacts, and eventually start new business cooperation with new business partners.

So far, business representatives all agree that making new business contacts and establishing new business cooperation is the primary goal of their participation at Expo 2020 Dubai.

Moreover, our visitors are particularly interested in the BiH pavilion workshops held by masters of our oldest crafts.

At Expo 2020 Dubai Bosnia and Herzegovina is presented as a country with numerous potentials, a long industrial heritage, and highly skilled and educated people.
